Mr. Dale Spradlin, M.Ed

Mr. Spradlin was raised in Western Oklahoma in Washita County.  As a farmer's son, Mr. Spradlin learned about rural life early, and enjoyed the work ethic and responsibility that accompanied that lifestyle.  As a farmer himself, Mr. Spradlin raised cattle, cotton, wheat, and hay.  For many years Mr. Spradlin operated a custom harvesting business, along with two separate retail businesses in the area.   Mr. Spradlin operated a tire center, was a front-end and suspension tech. and  an electronics retailer. 
Mr. Spradlin attended a small rural school in Dill City, Oklahoma where he participated in sports and FFA.  Mr. Spradlin earned the State FFA Degree in 1973. 
Mr. Spradlin earned a B.S. in Business Education from SWOSU in Weatherford.  While at SWOSU, Mr. Spradlin earned the Phi Beta Lambda honor of Future Business Teacher of Oklahoma in 1977.  In addition, Mr. Spradlin has a degree in Social Studies-Economics with a minor in Computer Education.  Also, Mr. Spradlin earned a M. S. in Educational Administration from SWOSU in 1986.  In addition, Mr. Spradlin has earned approximately 30 hours above his graduate degree and holds teacher certifications in history, business, computer, and is Oklahoma State Department of Education certified secondary principal and superintendent.
Mr. Spradlin  taught school at Mtn. View, Merritt, Dill City, and Cordell.  Mr. Spradlin has coached, taught social studies, business, computer and middle school math.  He designed and installed one of the first Satellite Instructional Systems in the state over 20 years ago.  He has 17 years experience in administration coupled with 16 years classroom teaching.
Mr. Spradlin is married to Rene' who is an Educational Specialist/Intake Coordinator for Inspirations Behavioral Health Program in Duncan, OK.  Together, they are the parents to three sons, Jamie, Matt, and Zack.  They enjoy five grandchildren.  Together in their "spare" time they enjoy gardening, storm chasing, and traveling to see family. Mr. and Mrs. Spradlin are members of Jefferson County Emergency Management, and the First Baptist Church of Waurika, Oklahoma.
