This is my very first year of teaching in the public school setting. My students and I call our classroom “The Third Grade Coffee House." I am greatly enjoying teaching third grade here at Waurika Elementary! I have worked with youth and families for the past seventeen years in various aspects. 

In the past I provided counseling to youth (and their families) in the school, home and office settings. 

I am the wife of a minister. My husband, David, and I have been married since 2001. We live in Ryan and have two sons: Dawson and Carson. We have a maltese shih tzu, named Samson.

When I am not at school I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love traveling and would gladly live life out of a suitecase if given the oppotunity! I enjoy taking photos, baking, and reading. I love Topo Chico, Chick-fil-A, chocolate, and strong coffee!
